With respect to batteries found defective in materials or workmanship in months 37 to 48 from the date of original purchase, a discount of 40 % of Club Assist's retail price or, where you are a CAA Member, 40 % of Member price will be applied.
With respect to batteries found defective in materials or workmanship in months 49 to 60 from the date of original purchase, a discount of 25 % of Club Assist's retail price or, where you are a CAA Member, 25 % of Member price will be applied.
With respect to batteries found defective in materials or workmanship in months 61 to 72 from the date of original purchase, a discount of 10 % of Club Assist's retail price or, where you are a CAA Member, 10 % of Member price will be applied.

Warranty Exclusions:

Vehicle must be driven at least 400 km per month and 5,000 km per year.
Warranty is granted to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
Battery must not have been removed from the vehicle.
Vehicle must not have been parked for a period of 6 months or more.
The warranty is void if the battery has frozen or has been damaged due to neglect or abuse.

The Club Assist Limited warranty provides for battery replacement resulting from manufacturer defects only; it does not cover premature failure due to the neglect, damage, or abuse of the battery.

Warranty do not apply in the following cases:

if the battery is merely discharged and still serviceable;
if the container, covers, or terminals are broken;
if the battery has been frozen or damaged due to neglect or abuse;
if the battery is damaged due to over or undercharging;
if the battery fails because of fire, collision, wreckage or explosion or because of a faulty electrical system or;
if the battery is used in applications for which it was not designed;
if the battery is installed or charged in reverse polarity.
Warranty is void if battery has been run down repeatedly due to owner's failure to turn off lights and/or other excessive electrical use of the vehicle's electrical system or where battery has been left in a discharged condition for an unreasonable length of time.
Warranty claims will be denied and/or considered void if an electrical system analysis determines other problems identified as but not limited to 'Alternator/Regulator.

IMPORTANT: The document containing all the warranty clauses will be given by the technician on site as requested by the Consumer Protection Office.
